Since I typically work with upper elementary & middle school children, classes run for 60 minutes since more can accomplished in that time. 

 

However, children who have difficulty concentrating tend to do better with a 30 minute session.

Schedule restraints can also necessitate needing a 30 minute session instead of a full 60 minute session.
